We had a very disappointing experience here. We ordered a spicy ramen, but when it arrived, the broth was not spicy at all. When we asked for the order to be fixed, the young man working at the counter refused. He kept insisting he couldn't remake it and would have to call his boss because he believed the order was correct.Even after we showed him the clear difference between our bowl and another spicy ramen ordered earlier, he still hesitated and spent several minutes on the phone. Finally, he agreed to remake it. However, when we got home, we discovered the new order was completely missing the extra chashu we had paid for.We used to think the food here was tasteful, but this employee completely ruined our experience. We will not be returning to this establishment. They not only get orders wrong, but they also refuse to take accountability when corrected.

I visited at lunchtime on Sunday, 14th June and ordered the beef fried rice bowl for $20, explicitly requesting NO onions due to an allergy. Despite this, the meal arrived covered in onions. ​When my wife complained, the "chef" was incredibly rude to her. He dismissively offered to just "pick them out", and completely refused to remake the meal, or offer a substitute because the beef is apparently pre-made with onions. He never bothered to mention this beforehand when taking the order, and offered absolutely no compensation or apology. ​To disregard a food allergy so carelessly is dangerous, but there was absolutely no reason for that man to be so rude to my wife when called out on his mistake. There are plenty of other fantastic vendors inside the Food Lab to choose from so I recommend to look to those instead.

Got the beef fried rice. Picture looks amazing. Lots of meat. Turns out they give you all rice and 3oz of beef.. Pre cooked I imagine. Got maybe 4 pieces of beef. Fried rice needs salt to give it flavor. Ordered spicy, even an English person could eat this. 0 flavor. Should have gone to baba's chicken where I know the food is good. Tried something new and regret it. Gyozas were cold, took forever to get. Overall horrible experience.

My son was craving some authentic ramen, we were visiting down town Riverside and found this little place inside FoodLab, amazing! Since it was our first time ordering it took time to know what to choose, but when the receptionist got our order he was kind enough to review it with us and make the adjustments needed for a kid and adult. It was not only right, it was perfect! We would definite go back to this place and try something different.

Wouldn’t revisit. I got a roasted eel bowl which comes with broccoli. There’s literally 6 small bites of eel with 2 broccoli florets. The rice portion is 3/4 of a to-go container. I feel like I’m paying mainly for the rice. Eel tastes fine but it’s just bad value for money.
